Why we started Seso
Co-founder Michael Guirguis found the problem through his cousin, Marsha Habib, who runs Oya Organics - a sustainable organic farm in Hollister, California. Looking into why the farm struggled to turn a profit, one answer came back every time: the cost and availability of labor was the ceiling on the business.
Jordan Taylor, who grew up farming and had been a product leader at Farmers Business Network, joined to launch Seso. Today Seso is one of the largest H-2A providers in the United States - and Oya Organics, the farm that sparked it all, is thriving.
